Are fools acceptable to God?
Psalm 5:5, "The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity." (KJV)
1 Corinthians 4:10, "We are fools for Christ's sake, but you are prudent in Christ; we are weak, but you are strong; you are distinguished, but we are without honor." (KJV)
(1 Corinthians 1:18-30, 3:18-20)
According to Psalms, the foolish shall not stand in the sight of God, however, according to 1 Corinthians chapter 4, Paul considered himself and the other leaders to be fools.
"Sorrow is better than laughter: for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better. The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning; but the heart of fools is in the house of mirth."
(Ecclesiastes 7:3-4, KJV)
"Then I commended mirth, because a man hath no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry: for that shall abide with him of his labour the days of his life, which God giveth him under the sun."
(Ecclesiastes 8:15, KJV)
